Yes, I am posting this a day later than usual, but that was by design. My work travel arrangements have shifted slightly and as such Thursday is my best day to devote to writing (or revising what I’ve already written earlier in the week). I’ll take a lump for being a day late, but this is the new schedule I’m going to try to stick to!
Today we continue the story of Aržak and his pals in an alternate ancient Earth. We are reunited with Chobo at long last. I’ve missed the little guy.
And we’re back to ancient times. I have to warn you, Chobo is not in this chapter. Though he is mentioned a few times. So don’t lose hope. Chobo will return!
On with the story…
I cheated a little this week. This is something I wrote many years ago, but took the opportunity to revise and re-work.
Is that an excuse if it’s not good? “Why, I wrote this a while ago, before I became the brilliant artist I am now!”
No. It’s corny, cliche, and overly sincere, but I enjoyed revisiting (and correcting) my past self. As they say, there’s no accounting for taste.

Doing something a little different this week. The story from the previous two weeks is on hold for a tiny bit. I’m going to do a movie pitch, which is maybe more in line with how I originally intended this blog to go. Still, it’s creative, it’s writing, I am meeting my deadline of writing something new every week. Living The Motern Method.
The writing continues! As does the story I started last week.

And we’re back for the weekly writing effort. This time I’m going to post a chapter from something much larger, I hope. This is a huge gamble, as I don’t have the later stuff written, so it’s possible I end up writing myself into a corner! 😆

Unlike the last story, which I wrote a few weeks ago and revised the day I posted it, I just wrote this one today, so it might be a little rough.
The good news is, this one is nice and sappy, unlike the last one, which was a bit mean spirited in places. Just like last time, I’ll have a bit at the end explaining where this came from.
Here we go again…
I decided to post something original for once, instead of complaining about movies. So here goes. It’s not much of anything. I don’t even know what it’s about. I’ll save the inspiration and background until the end.
