Time for part two of my amazing hack Twilight Zone episode. Have you guessed where it’s going yet?
Of course you have, but that shouldn’t spoil the fun!
Time for part two of my amazing hack Twilight Zone episode. Have you guessed where it’s going yet?
Of course you have, but that shouldn’t spoil the fun!
I wanted to knock this all out in a single post, but it just got longer and longer, to the point that it was almost double the length of what I shoot for every week (roughly 2000-ish words).
So, enjoy part one of this two part hack Twilight Zone episode where you’ve probably guessed where it’s going before the second ad break!
Seriously, I really enjoyed writing this, despite it being pretty hacky. Hacky can be fun. Wait, I wrote about time travel two weeks in a row? SPOILERS!!!
I missed my deadline last week! That means I have to put out two projects this week, lest I fall behind. It’s written right there in the rules. In The Motern Method that is.
This is actually an older story that I just came back and revised. It feels a bit like cheating, but it’s only slightly less work than banging out something that’s only existed in my head for 10+ years.
Ok, I’m a day late, but in my defense, I did have this just about ready to go out last night, but it was a holiday. I was doing my duty, as an American, to partake in all the most important patriotic duties: watching baseball, eating hot dogs, and watching fireworks while songs play, unironically, that sound patriotic, but are actually critical of some aspect of American society.
Anyway, Traudl’s quest continues with a shocking new development. Could she have found what she was looking for already? Obviously not, there are still a few more chapters to go!
I cheated a little this week. This is something I wrote many years ago, but took the opportunity to revise and re-work.
Is that an excuse if it’s not good? “Why, I wrote this a while ago, before I became the brilliant artist I am now!”
No. It’s corny, cliche, and overly sincere, but I enjoyed revisiting (and correcting) my past self. As they say, there’s no accounting for taste.
Thank you for checking it out…
The writing continues! As does the story I started last week.
Is this exciting or what?
No… don’t answer that!
Unlike the last story, which I wrote a few weeks ago and revised the day I posted it, I just wrote this one today, so it might be a little rough.
The good news is, this one is nice and sappy, unlike the last one, which was a bit mean spirited in places. Just like last time, I’ll have a bit at the end explaining where this came from.
Here we go again…
Nothing too fancy or flashy here. Just wanted to talk about a few films I enjoyed that came out in 2023 as well as a few I discovered for the first time last year.
Continue reading “2023 Favorite Films”I haven’t done one of these in a long time, mostly because I don’t care anymore. I used to really enjoy going to the movies, but with the death of the mid-budget films (virtually all going straight to streaming), I’m pretty much only going to see tent-pole films, most of which are mediocre at best.
Anyway, here’s what I’ve seen in 2023 so far. This is a mix of movies I saw at the cinema this year, regardless of release date, and movies released this year I watched at home.
Continue reading “2023 in Movies… so far.”With the Ahsoka series trailer finally dropping I can admit that I actually have access to the script for the first episode. I’m not going to give everything away, but I’ll share with you the opening scene. It’s the literal first few minutes, so hardly some major reveal of where the series is going. Enjoy!!!
